Long Service and Retirement Recognition
It was an opportunity to celebrate some amazing milestones and bid farewell to those leaving our local education system. Bluewater District School Board trustees, staff, and family members came together on Thursday, June 20, 2019 for another unforgettable Long Service and Retirement Recognition Reception.

The evening at Stone Tree in Owen Sound began with social time for attendees to mingle with their peers while enjoying refreshments and appetizers, followed by a formal program that brought many laughs and tears.  Following heartfelt words of welcome from Director of Education Alana Murray and greetings from Chair Jan Johnstone, presentations were made to retirees and those with 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service.
